Discover the unparalleled experience of Expanding Horizons, the only institute dedicated to exploring the topic of infant and early mental health in Canada! Presented bi-annually in Toronto, this transformative 3-day event is proudly organized by Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion (IEMHP) at The Hospital for Sick Children.
Expanding Horizons strives to promote evidence-based programs, spotlight promising supports, feature emerging research, celebrate community successes, and translate science into meaningful practice with children prenatal to six years of age. Attendees can share learnings and build relationships across fields, sectors, and geography.
Calling all service providers, practitioners, community leaders, researchers, etc.! Submissions are welcomed for 90-minute concurrent sessions to be delivered in-person on May 7 or 8, 2025 as a workshop or presentation. This interdisciplinary learning event is for those whose work is focused on the care and well-being of infants, young children and their families, in settings such as, but not limited to:
