This event is co-hosted with IMHPromototion and the SicKkids Centre for Community Mental Health Learning Institute. 

This is a two-day workshop on the clinical applications of the Lausanne Trilogue Play paradigm (LTP) as well as the other variants of the LTP, in particular the Lausanne Family Play paradigm (LFP). Participants will be introduced to the delivery of this assessment tool within a variety of clinical settings. On day one, the theoretical background of the Family Alliance Model will be presented. Participants will also be introduced to coding systems used in research, as well as to clinical interpretation of the protocol for the purpose of video feedback. On day two, the basic format and structure of video feedback will be explored, using a variety of case vignettes.

There will be opportunity for participants to work directly with videotaped sessions of an LTP or LFP in order to develop a video feedback session.

THIS COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR
  • Mental health professionals: psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists, social workers.
  • Medical professionals: nurses, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family doctors.
PREREQUISITE: Masters level or higher in mental health profession.
